1284718 Cellulose ether compositions KORES MFG CO Ltd and W POPIOLEK 25 June 1969 [23 July 1968] 35151/68 Heading C3F [Also in Division D2] Compositions for hectographic transfer sheets (see Division D2) are made, in the examples as follows: (1) ethylhydroxyethyl-cellulose is dissolved in toluol and mineral oil added; zinc stearate is dissolved in methylated spirits with warming, the solution cooled and methyl violet then dissolved in it; the toluol solution is added to the methylated spirit solution with fast stirring, and the resulting composition coated on to paper; a protective layer of wax is applied; (2) "Methic" ( Registered Trade Mark) copying black is dissolved in methylated spirits, ethylhydroxyethyl-cellulose, microcrystalline wax, mineral oil, mineral jelly and toluol are heated together to form a solution which is then cooled and stirred into the methylated-spirit solution, which is applied and overcoated as in Example 1. |
