The spray has a manual actuating lever and a pump with suction-and outlet valves. A piston in a cylinder of the appliance is moved via a coupled actuating mechanism. The appliance has a cap section to be screwed onto the neck of a fluid vessel. The cap section carries a cylinder section for insertion of a cylinder, wiht an internal pump chamber, and a retaining cylinder for an injection tube. The cylinder section has an integral arm. The actuating mechanism has a manual lever is pivoted via a pin to an end of the arm and consists of an arched compression member and a connected forked member. The injection tube consists of a vertical and an inclined section and is inserted between the fork.
