PURPOSE:To obtain a superior image by adding an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer as a plasticizer, metallic complex salt or the like as an electrification controller and the salt of acidic and basic dyes to a toner contg. wax and magnetic powder as principal components so as to provide a specified electric conductivity. CONSTITUTION:A toner contg. wax such as polyethylene wax or amide wax and magnetic powder as principal components, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer as a plasticizer, metallic complex salt, amine salt, metallic complex salt of org. amine salt or amine salt of phthalocyanine-sulfonic acid as an electrification controller and a dye contg. the salt of acidic and basic dyes is prepared. The dye is added by <=10wt% to the total amount of the resins. Carbon black and a fluidity modifier may be added. This magnetic toner has <=10<-9>OMEGA<-1>cm<-1> electric conductivity in an electric field with 4,000V/cm DC and gives a superior image by reversal development accompanied by pressure fixing especially using ZnO paper. |
