PURPOSE:To read out a desired word by storing the contents of an address register in an address memory temporarily, by reading out them in the address register when they are necessary, and by selecting word memories through a language selection memory. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 1 includes character keys, specifying keys for language memories 21-24, a readout and a write-in key for an address memory 2, etc., and has a common address for each language. The common address of the memories 21-24 is specified by an address register 27, whose contents are stored in the memory 2. With the readout or write-in key for the memory 2, control 4 over the reading out or writing-in operation between the memory 2 and register 27 is exercised and the memories 21-24 are selected by a memory 29. Consequently, the common address of the memories 21-24 is determined by an address readout from the memory 2 to the register 27, and the memories 21-24 are selected by the memory 29. |
