A head support cushion has padding, which consists of microporous rubber material or porous plastic material, and a U-shaped frame 12 which consists of a stiff or rigid material. The padding is connected to the frame and is divided into head cushion and wing cushion parts 10 and 11, respectively which are separate from each other. The head cushion part 10 has a cross section which is approximately P-shaped and has a longitudinal recess 23 in its thicker part for forming a softer, arched spring part 24 of the head cushion. The free outer edges 18 of the shanks 17 of the frame 12 are approximately on a level with the arched spring part 24 for the purpose of increasing the rigidity of the wing cushion parts 11. <IMAGE> |
