<p>The generator is for fluid to reduce fluid resistance and for fitting to vehicles, (20) running in the fluid. It consists of a ramp formed by a collection of jet orifices (18,19) or ejection slots. These give a fluid coating in a geometric shape to suit the particular vehicle. The ramp is divided into sections separating the load-pressure-speed conditions as a function of relative flow to make an enveloping surface. The fluid coverings form an angle relative to the vehicle. The angle between jets varies with vehicle shape.</p> |
