PURPOSE:To permit a proper display even when an engine brake is applied in a braking display device for automobile which is capable of informing that the vehicle is braked to the following cars by detecting and displaying the number of revolution of its engine higher than a specified value and the amount of fuel to be supplied lower than a specified value. CONSTITUTION:Digital signals 9 of the number of revolution of an engine are D/A converted by a D/A converer 1 and the converted signal is compared with a specified value by No.1 comparator 2 which in turn generates a signal when the converted signal is higher than the specified value. A signal 10 which is proportional to the angle of a throttle valve is compared with a specified value by No.2 comparator 3 which in turn generates a signal when it becomes lower than the specified value, and the generated signal is inputted together with the number of revolution signal to an OR-circuit 4. When both signals are inputted into the circuit simultaneously, a switch 5 closes to cause a braking display lamp 8 to light. Another switch 6 which is interlocked with a main brake device such as a foot brake, erc. operates to cause the braking display lamp 8 to light. |
