PURPOSE:To generate many kind of diagrams easily with slight storage capacity by forming a ruled-line pattern by synthesizing predetermined basic patterns and by performing the formation of the ruled-line pattern by one-character output areas on the basis of output information on output coordinates of an output equipment. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of position coordinates from a column counter 1A in a counter part 1 and X-ruled-line information from a memory 7 stored with ruled- line information, an X-pattern discrimination part 2A discriminates a pattern to output a basic or auxiliary pattern. Similarly, position coordinate of a row counter 1B and Y-ruled-line information in the memory 7 are used to output the basic or auxiliary pattern from an Y-pattern discrimination part 2B. This output is held in the X and Y pattern buffers 4A and 4B of a pattern memory part 3. The patterns from those buffers 4A and 4B are synthesized by a pattern synthesizing part 5, whose output is sent as a ruled-line pattern for one character to a printer 6 to be printed or displayed. |
