PURPOSE:To obtain an alloy for hot dipping that provides corrosion resistivity, by preparing a Zn alloy so as to contain specified ingredients of Ti and Mn. CONSTITUTION:The alloy is prepared to have a composition containing 0.2- 1.8wt% of Ti, 0.1-1.6wt% of Mn, and balance of Zn and unavodable impurities. When thus prepared Zn alloy is used for hot dipping for plating the surfaces of a steel material, the product has an extremely excellent corrosion resistivity for a long period under severe circumstances. |
