<p>The heat-exchanger absorbs heat from the air and is for supplying a heat pump, having fins through which a heat-transfer fluid flows. The fins are upright or inclined, and can extend in the direction of the prevailing wind, and in particular from east to west. The exchanger can be arranged to slew on a vertical axis under the action of a controlled drive into the wind direction. A fan can be provided to direct a current of air over the fins, which can be clad with material having a low coefficient of friction.</p> |
