The flooring grille is formed so that the upper surface is planar. The network of wires define squares between them and are soldered at their bent-over ends (7) to the edges of a frame (2) made up of flat metal plates which are perpendicular to the plane of the grille. The wires constituting the mesh have circular cross-sections and at the intersection points of a pair of orthogonal points of a pair of orthogonal wires, the lower wire is bent into a slight indentation. The upper wire rests in the indentation so the surface of the mesh is formed as flat as possible.
