The package is of the plate or tray type made of pliable material. The material incorporated in the stiffened corner joint is defined by two creases which radiate from the floor angle, and are bisected by a third crease so that the corner folds up like a bellows. Two opposed sides have top edge returns which serve to secure the assembly and which fold onto the inside faces of the relevant side. When the return is folded over, the folded triangular corner tongues fit between the return and the relevant side to maintain continuity between the long and short sides. A flap extends the return and is glued in place to stiffen the floor at the toe of the assembled box section longitudinal sides.
