<p>The kitchen appliance for cutting and dicing has a detachable, horizontally aligned container (6) for the processed food and a motor-driven cutter for comminuting the food. The container is releasably secured to an appliance part (4), pivotable about horizontal axis (5). The cutter can be axially extended from this appliance part into the container. Preferably the pivotable appliance part has a front-open, pot-shaped section, surrounding the cutter, against which the container is to be set. A latching device for the container may be fitted to the pivotable appliance part. This device has a horizontal position, a vertical one, and at least an intermediate one. The pivotable part may be mounted between two shanks (2,3) of a bearing pedestal.</p> |
