PURPOSE:To give an alarm to an operator at transmission or reception side, by providing a means to detect upside down loading of an original and detecting the loading through this means. CONSTITUTION:A video signal of an original 2 read at a read-in section 1 is transmitted to a transmission line 5a via a MODEM 5, and the number of bits of black information is counted at a black bit counter 6. If the original 2 is set by upside down, the number of black bits by the black bit counter 6 is specified number N or less in total, outputs 34 and 35 are at logic 1, gates 7 and 8 are opened, and an output 38 of the OR gate is at ''1'' for a specified time. While the OR gate 38 is kept at ''1'', the memory 10 transmits the content to be warned to an alarm output section 12 via an amplifier 11. |
