<p>The enamelled steel sheet cooking, frying or baking pan has a curved bottom and is provided with an enamel ground coat and top coat on the entire inner surface and on the outer side wall as well as a bottom coat on the outer surface. The pan is produced by (i) coating the bottom outer surface with a low thermal conductivity enamel suspension contg. (by wt. on dry basis) 30-80% binder enamel, 25-60% fine ceramic filler, 7-25% aluminium powder and usual addns. such as water, suspension agent and electrolyte; (ii) drying and firing at 750-860 deg.C for 3-8 mins.; (iii) coating the bottom outer surface with a high thermal conductivity enamel slip contg. (on dry wt. basis) 40-70% binder enamel, 45-65% aluminium powder and usual addns. such as water, suspension agent and electrolyte; and (iv) drying and firing at 750-860 deg.C for 3-8 mins. The two-layer bottom enamel coating gives improved heat distribution when heated intensively by town's gas or electric cooker rings.</p> |
