In a twin-terminal rotary connection for electrical power leads with two sliding contacts, consisting of two circular contact rings mounted axially on a rotating inner component and two contact springs located in an outer component, the contact rings are annular in form (6) and are fitted over the inner component (16) at a certain distance from each other, while the contact springs (1) are in the shape of forks with prongs (2, 3, 4) that rest on both sides of the contact rings and also a connecting tag (1.2) for a power lead. This provides several parallel points for conduction, with self-neutralizing contact presssure. The contact springs (1) are slotted into a contact spring holder (10) which itself slides and locks into the outer component. The contact rings (6) are extended by tongues (7) projecting at right angles from their inner edges, to complete the circuit through the body of the device, and fitting into corresponding slots (16.1, 16.2) in the outer face of the inner component (16), the different lengths of the tongues affording the necessary axial separation for insulation of the two contact rings (6), in such a way as to key them on to the inner component and thereby prevent rotation in relation to it.
|
