The vehicle roof rack bicycle frame carrier has a carrier block (12) clamped to the roof rack. A quick release clamp locks the bicycle forks to the carrier. The clamp lever (14) folds round to fit between the shanks of a 'U' shaped cut out in a lock arm (15) fitted to the carrier clamp. A locking peg (17) is fitted in drillings in the lock arm to ensure that the release clamp lever (14) cannot accidentally free itself allowing the clamp to be released freeing the bicycle frame.
