Device for stacking elongated material

A device permits the successive feeding and stacking of elongated or long material in a reception channel of a load-bearing bed or frame. The device is designed in such a way that the elongated material is transferred by a reduced number of supporting carriers to the reception channel, which carriers are vertically movable in order to permit adjustment of the dropping distance of the elongated material, so that the latter can be dropped from the supporting carriers onto or into the reception channel.
