The invention concerns procedure and an apparatus for the heat and humidity treatment of products, for example those made of concrete.The products are treated in a tunnel shaped chamber (4) by regulating the ambient temperature and humidity. During a temperature increase stage, the products are subjected to an air stream with a temperature of 40-100 degrees C; the products are then subjected to a steam air mixture for 1-6 hours in a temperature increase zone (5), where the mixture's temperature and humidity are each increased gradually up to the allowed values, depending on the product. In an isothermal holding zone (6), the products are subjected to a heat transfer medium with a temperature of 60-95 degrees C and a relative humidity close to 100 per cent for 2-6 hours, and in a cooling zone (7) the products are subjected to a flow of a cooling medium with a relative humidity of 35-90 per cent for 0.5 - 1.5 hours. The apparatus includes a chamber (1) equipped with air ducts (20) for preparatory drying, from which every air duct (2) is connected to air screen collector (3) at the tunnel chamber's (4) entry side.The invention enables the reduction of treatment times for the products and improves their quality by lessening the concrete's deterioration.<IMAGE> |
