Aza bicycloheptane carboxylic acid derivatives (I) in their racemic and optically active forms, are new (where R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is OH or lower alkoxy; R3 is OH or lower alkoxy; R4 = alkyl or phenyl alkyl of at most 8C atoms).
