PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition enlarging uses of blow molded articles, maintaining mechanical strength, improving low-temperature impact resistance and blow molding properties, by blending a specific polypropylene component with a polyethylene component. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition comprising (A) a polypropylene component consisting of (i) 50-94wt.% polypropylene having 0.5-3.5 intrinsic viscosity, (ii) 3-25wt.% polypropylene having >=3.5 intrinsic viscosity and (iii) 3-25wt.% propylene-ethylene copolymer having >=3 intrinsic viscosity and (B) a polyethylene component having >=5X10<5> poise complex viscosity at 10<-2>rad/sec frequency and a ratio of complex viscosity at the frequency and complex viscosity at 10<2>rad/sec frequency of >=50 and obtained by blending 70-95pts.wt. component A with 30-5pts.wt. component B based on 100pts.wt. sum of the components A and B. |
