<p>A remote supervisory unit, in particular a remote supervisory control unit which makes it possible the clock circuit of a master station and those of slave stations to be synchronized through only an ordinary signal-path and code-transmitting/receiving circuit for remote supervisory control, without using a special signal-path and code-transmitting/receiving circuit. The construction of the unit is as follows: in a unit for controlling and supervising equipment provided in slave stations (1, 2) from a master station (0), a remote supervisory control unit comprising signal paths (L<u1>u, L<u2>u) with a predetermined transmission delay time (//c<u1>u, //c<u2>u) for transmitting signals between and the slave stations, transmitting/receiving circuits (TR<u0>u, TR<u1>u, TR<u2>u), provided in the master station and the slave stations, respectively, for transmitting and receiving the signals to and from the signal paths, and clock circuits (CL<u0>u, CL<u1>u, CL<u2>u) provided in the master station and the slave stations, respectively, for synchronizing the timing of the master station and slave stations, wherein a time-setting signal (SET, BT) is transmitted from the master station when the clock circuit (CL<u0>u) reaches a predetermined time (t<u0>u), the clock circuits (CL<u1>u, CL<u2>u) are set to the time of the predetermined time plus the transmission delay time (//c<u1>u, //c<u2>u) when receiving the timesetting signal (SET, BT), and then the result (OK<u1>u, OK<u2>u) of judgement whether the time-setting signal is a predetermined pattern or not is transmitted to the master station. The invention can be used for remote supervisory controlling all equipment in an electric power system and for similar purposes.</p> |
