PURPOSE:To obtain a mechanism of a simple constitution and a low power consumption, by providing three engaging parts in a a gear and by regulating the position of a head chassis by the position of a lock part engaged with them. CONSTITUTION:When a reproducing operation member is operated under the operation stop state shown in figure, power is supplied to a solenoid plunger 48 to drive it, and a driving piece 481 of this plunger 48 is led in, and the lock part of a lock member 46 is separated from a stopping part 617 of a gear 61, and the gear 61 is turned counterclockwise by the energizing force given through a driving lever 44 and gears into a gear 40. When the gear 61 is turned counterclockwise to engage an engaging part 619 by the lock part 461, a notch part 613 of the gear 61 faces to the gear 40 and the gear 61 is not turned. At this time, the driving lever 44 is turned clockwise against the energizing force of a spring 444 by a curve part of a cam part 615 and a head slider 25 and a head chassis 20 advance in accordance with this turning, thus making the tape constant-speed. |
