PURPOSE:To perform a sure protective countermeasure for a power failure and a waste of the power source power, by providing a cam, an engaging part interlocked with an engagement release solenoid, etc. and by controlling the movement of a head chassis through a gear with teeth omitted partially. CONSTITUTION:When engagement is released by a lock member 46 operated in accordance with a solenoid 48 to which power is supplied temporarily, a gear 43 which is provided with teeth omitted parts 431 and 432 and is formed into one body together with a cam 434, engaging parts 436 and 437, etc. is turned in the counter- clockwise direction by a level 44 to which the elastic force of a spring 444 is applied. Then, the gear 43 is turned until the member 46 is engaged with the engaging parts 437 by a gear 40 which is always turned together with a fly-wheel, and a head chassis is moved to the reproducing position through the cam 434 and a slider 25. The stopped slider 25 is moved similarly by the temporary power supply to the solenoid in accordance with a touch switch. Consequently, this member 46 is forced- ly operated by an external operation member to perform surely such protective countermeasure that the operation is stopped at the power failure time and the waste time of the power source battey when the solenoid is not operated in response to the touch switch. |
