A continuous processing method for simultaneously subjecting knitted and woven cloth materials to a hygro-thermic treatment process for dyeing, scouring, weight reduction, etc. through a high pressure steamer which maintains high humidity and high temperature therein. One or a plurality of sheets of a knitted cloth material and one or a plurality of sheets of a woven cloth material are superposed one on top of the other and, in such a superposed state, are continuously subjected to a hygro-thermic treatment process either after they are partly or wholly liquid treated or without such prior treatment.
