PURPOSE:To reduce a detection current with a less frequency of sampling by determinig the new position with an output data of a memory circuit while the order and frequency with an output data of a detection circuit when sampling the temperature and the battery voltage a new. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic watch having a circuit to determine a circuit voltage value or a duty ratio or the like of a drive wave form for driving a liquid crystal by values of the temperature or the battery voltage or the like, the values are detected 3 at an interval of a fixed sampling time 3 and the results are memorized 1. When sampling values of the temperature or battery voltage and the like a new, a new sampling position is determined based on the output data of a memory circuit 1 with a sampling position discrimination circuit 21 of a control circuit 2 and the sampling order and frequency are discriminated with an output data of a detection circuit 3 based on the position thus obtained by means of a sampling order and end discrimination circuit 22. This can reduce the detection current with a less frequency in the detection circuit having many detection points. |
