PURPOSE:To accomplish accurate detection of leaked liquid while preventing the inflow thereof to a module by providing an electrode for detecting the leaked liquid on a water absorbing member arranged about the cathod of a battery. CONSTITUTION:A cathode 2a of a battery 2 is connected to a cathode pattern 3a on a circuit board 3 by way of battery lead terminal 5 to supply energy to a watch circuit. A water abosrbing member 4 functions as an insulator to insulate a detection electrode 3b from the cathode 2a. When a liquid leaks around the cathode 2a of the battery 2, it is abosrbed in the water absorbing member 4 through which the cathode 2a and the detection electrode 3b are caused to conduct. Thus, a detection signal is generated from the detection electrode 3b. |
