PURPOSE:To prevent the splashing of lubrication oil caused by centrifugal force by covering the power transmission chain of an autocycle or the like with a ring belt made of an elastic body of an almost U-shaped section. CONSTITUTION:The inner side of a chain 3 is engaged with the teeth of a drive sprocket 1 and a driven sprocket 2 for rotation and transmits power. A ring belt 4 is made of elastic substance,and fitted on the chain 3 by elastic force. Even if it is bent together with the chain 3, it is expanded or contracted by elastic to follow, and always fitted to cover the chain 3. The kubricant applied on the chain 3 is splashed outward by centrifugal force as the rotational speed is increased, but, it is dashed to the inside of the ring belt 4, and prevented from splashing outside. Consequently, the lubricant remains inside the ring belt 4 for reducing the chance of insufficient lubrication, and improves the durability of the chain 3.
