PURPOSE:To provide the captioned clamping apparatus with a simple mechanism so as to make it possible to measure, in addition to the static load when it is assembled and adjusted, the dynamic load when it is movable, by providing a ring for detecting the clamping force between platens to tie bars between a fixed platen and a fixing part for fixing the tie bars. CONSTITUTION:The detected signals from a plurality of strain gauges 10 attached in a groove in the outside at the center of a ring 9 are amplified in amplifiers 12, passed via a switching apparatus 13 to an adder 14 and a peak hold circuit 15, and inputted into a clamping force displaying part 16. The load on each tie bar 1 can individually displayed by the switching apparatus 13, and based on the detected signal the adjusting apparatus 17 can be controlled, so that the clamping force between the platens 3, 5 in tie bars can be made uniform. |
