PURPOSE:To reduce the distortion independently of load impedance characteristics and to prevent the destruction of transistors (TR), by keeping a voltage between the collector and the emitter of the TR constant, independently of the collector current. CONSTITUTION:Collectors of TRs 3, 4 the emitters of which are connected to the collectors of TRs 1, 2 with common emitter connection are connected to the plus and minus voltage of a power supply. Diodes D1, D2 are connected between the base and ground of the TRs 3, 4. Constant voltage sources E3, E4 and diodes D3, D4 are respectively connected between the base and signal source input Vin of the TRs 3, 4. With the circuit like this, since the voltage between the collector and emitter of the TRs 1, 2 is constant independently of the collector current, the distortion can be reduced infependently of load impedance characteristics. Since the operation is made within a safe region at all times, the destruction of transistors can be avoided. |
