Process for the preparation of nitroaminobenzenes by nitrating aminobenzenes, which are protected at the nitrogen, with nitric acid in the presence of inert, water-immiscible organic solvents and/or diluents, optionally in the presence of nitrous acid and/or of substances which form nitrous acid, and optionally in the presence of water-binding agents, at temperatures of 0 to 80 degrees C, characterised in that the nitration is carried out in the presence of methylene chloride, with simultaneous addition of 50 to 100% strength by weight nitric acid and of the compound to be nitrated, the protective group of the nitroaminobenzenes is then split off, optionally after first removing the methylene chloride, and the nitroaminobenzenes are isolated.</p> |
