PURPOSE:To obtain more stabilized output for a focus detecting device using a photoelectric transducer, by inhibiting the output corresponding to the focus adjusting state, i.e. the funal output of the focus detecting circuit according to the change of the above-mensioned transducer or keeping the output in the previous state. CONSTITUTION:An inverter 45 of a display control circuit CONT sets the outputs of AND gates 25-27 at low levels to inhibit a display when the signal supplied from a storing time control circuit AGC. When the peak of a picture signal is low, the display output is transmitted as it is to a display circuit DISP. If a D latching circuit is used in place of AND gates 25-27, i.e. the output of each arithmetic circuit CPU and the output of an inverter 24 are supplied to the input terminal of the D latching circuit and to a strobe input respectively, the display is inhibited when the output of a comparator COMPA (not shown in the diagram) is set at a high level. This state of inhibition is kept until the output of the COMPA changes. As a result, more stabilized output is obtained. |
