PURPOSE:To know whether the control is normally carried out for both the primary and secondary high voltage outputs, by simulaneously display both the primary and secondary high voltages at a display means. CONSTITUTION:The value obtained by multiplying the primary and secondary high voltage output arithmetic values stored in random memories M1 and M2 of a CPU41 by a reduction copy magnification ratio 0.7 through an ALU is displayed at a display devide 61. This high voltage primary output is displayed at a display device 61-2 in the form of numerical value 0-9; while the high voltage secondary output is displayed at a display device 61-3 in the form of numerical value 0-9. As a result, both the high voltage primary and secondary outputs can be roughly known at a time. Then the contrast potential, i.e., the difference between the bright part potential and the dark part potential of a drum 11 is calculated and displayed on a display device 61. Thus whether or not the normal control is carried out for boty the high voltage primary and secondary outputs can be known by looking at the contrast potential. |
