PURPOSE:To cause the full scale to follow the variance of an input signal rapidly, by changing the magnitude of a gain control signal in an A/D converting circuit in accordance with the peak of the input signal and by changing the variation of the control signal in accordance with the value of the current control signal. CONSTITUTION:Contents of a register 26 are rewritten in accordance with the magnitude of a digital input. A value to be rewritten is obtained by multiplying the value, which is stored till now, and a coefficient value read out from a ROM2. The coefficient value stored in the RAM24 is set to a larger value according as the peak value stored in the register 22 becomes larger. |
