PURPOSE:To improve yield rate in production of heat-sensitive recording heads, by using a heating element for the head, branched at its intermediate part so as to obtain two coloring dots, and connecting an electrode to each of the branched ends. CONSTITUTION:A heating element 4 is connected to a common electrode at its one end, and two divided pieces 4a, 4b branched at the intermediate part are curved into a U-shaped and connected to electrodes 6a, 6b. The heating element construced in this way has a larger length-to-width ratio as compared with a rectangular one, and its current-uniting part acts as a common part for resistance. Consequently, the heating element has smaller dispersion in its resistance value. In addision, dense tyepwriting can be performed by color developing the two dots simultaneously. |
