PURPOSE:To enable styli to be automatically interchanged by moving a tracer shaft clamping a stylue relatively to a predetermined position of a stylus storing device storing styli to be interchanged. CONSTITUTION:A stylus 33 is attached to a tracer shaft 31 mounted on a tracer head holding bed 27 fixed to a spindle head 19. On the other, hand, a stylus storing device 47 is formedin the upper portion of a frame body 43 fixed to the right side of a table 11. When the styli 33 are interchanged, the tracer shaft 31 is moved in the X, Y directions relatively to the stylus storing device by motors 3, 9 and 17 to be located at a predetermined position and then interchangeably attach and remove required styli 33 with the action of a pressure responsitive device 49. |
