<p>The ashtray with rapid-extinction effect comprises a vessel closed by a platform, to which two sockets are fixed. These can be turned through 180 deg. by a button, and locked in either end position by a spring-loaded ball engaging in a recess in the cover spindle. The bottom of the vessel can be of the plug-in type, or can be hinged, to allow the contents to be emptied. The ashtray can be held in place by screws, hooks or magnets.</p> |
