PURPOSE:To prevent ringing phenomena by providing an electrical middle terminal at the fine winding section of a single-layer troidally wound vertical winding and connecting a resistor between the middle termainal and the start and end of the single-layer winding. CONSTITUTION:A deflection yoke is formed by multiply winding vertical windings 4 and 5 round the opposed section on the external surface of a ring-shaped core 3 and winding horizontal windings 6 and 7 in a saddle shape. Besides, electrical middle terminals 12 and 13 in which the polarity of horizontal pulses induced by the mutual induction between the vertical windings 4 and 5 and the horizontal winding 6 and 7 is inverted are provided on the single layer of the central layer of the vertical windings 4 and 6 and resistors 14 and 15 which lower the Q value of a resonance circuit formed at the vertical winding 4 are connected between the terminals and the start and end 4a and 4b. As a result, the horizontal pulse voltage of an inverse polarity which contains oscillation components caused by the resonance circuit does not take place in the vertical windings 4 and 5 and ringing in vertical stripes can accurately be controlled. |
