PURPOSE:To control the change of an ink pressure by preparing an ink feed tube which supplies the ink to an ink jet head with a soft material and setting a portion which crosses rectangularly with a carriage. CONSTITUTION:As an ink feed tube 14 connected with an ink jet head 13, a soft tube such as a tube made of vinyl chloride or the like more soft than that of teflon or polyethylene is used to increase the compliance. The ink feed tube 14 is fixedly arranged in zigzag state so as to cross rectangularly with the transit direction of the carriage 11 in front of a position where the ink feed tube 14 is connected with the ink spray head 13, thereby increasing the fluid resistance of the ink. Further, by using a soft tube for the ink feed tube 14, the pressure of ink jetted from the ink jet head 13 as a capacitor component is utilized in stabilizing ink jet pressure. |
