PURPOSE:To obtain a fluid spray method which does not form unevenness in an interval between liquid droplets with a simplified installation without use of any vibrator, by periodically charging an electric field to a fluid forcedly fed to a fluid spray nozzle in an ink jet sprayer or the like. CONSTITUTION:Ink forcedly fed to an ink jet head 1 by a pressure P0 receives a power F defined by F=agradE<2>, when an electric field E is generated between the first electrode 2 and the second electrode 3. An electric field such as an A.C. sine-wave electric field periodically changed by an A.C. power source is charged between the electrodes 2 and 3. The diameter D1 of an ink stream-passing hole in the electrode 2 is larger than the diameter D2 of an ink stream-passing hole in the electrode 3, so that a power DELTAP=a'grad(Ecoswt)<2> along a direction shown as the arrow B is applied to the ink stream by the electric field. Consequently, an ink pressure inside the head 1 slightly changes with frequency in response to the frequency of the electric field, and divides an ink liquid column 6 to be sprayed into ink droplets 7. |
