The unit is fitted, in a manner known in the art, in dung channels beneath the floor surface in stables and comprises a scraper bar 11 extending in the longitudinal direction of the dung channel, with pivotally fixed scrapers 3 for mucking out during the reciprocating movement of the scraper bar in the longitudinal direction of the dung channel. In the mucking-out unit the scraper bar is divided into two parts, so that the counter-bar 6 is designed to interlock with the scraper bar during either the opening or the return movement. The scraper bar 11 is thereby gradually shifted one working length of the drive assembly 5 corresponding to the length of the counter-beam 6 and remains in place during the opposing movement in relation to the locking position of the assembly. During successive working movements towards the locking position, the locking position is thereby shifted in the longitudinal direction of the counter-bar by a distance corresponding to the working length of the assembly. The locking direction is kept constant over the entire length of the dung channel, and the counter-bar is furthermore provided with devices for adjusting the locking direction between the counter-bar and the scraper bar in limit positions for the scraper bar travel. The scraper bar 11 is therefore moved gradually by a number of movements from the one limit position to the other, even if the working length of the drive assembly 5 is relatively small. <IMAGE> |
