<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate discrimination of an object, by classifying received detecting waves into signals from land and those from ships by strength and length of the waves, and making indication on a color CRT using different colors. CONSTITUTION:Pulses emitted from a transmitting and receiving unit 1 are received and discriminated from its waveform by a discriminating circuit 2, and signals from land are sent to a memory circuit 3 and other signals are sent to memory circuits 4 and 5 as those from ships. A 'write' address forming circuit 6 converts signals of distance and direction, which are obtained by rotation of the transmitting and receiving unit 1, to an X-Y cordinate and designates an address to the memory circuits 3-5 through a changeover circuit 10. A polarizing circuit 7 sweeps a color CRT, and at the same time, it designates a ''read'' address. A level switch 11 and the changeover circuit 10 are interlocked to control the memory circuits 3 and 4 and repeat ''memory'' and ''read'', and the signals from land and ships are indicated on the color CRT by using different colors. The memory circuit 5 conducts memory operation while ships' signals are still present, others show status of ''read'', and contents of memory are stored as they are. It is possible, by doing so, to use 3-color indication including that for wake and thereby, discrimination becomes facilitated.</p> |
