A holder for a body fluid bag, for example an incontinence bag, which represents a pocket (1) or a backrest to support the bag, with straps (10) intended for fastening around the waist of the wearer, and straps (11) intended for fastening around the leg of the wearer. The pocket or backrest and the straps are designed such that a drainage bag (5) when inserted into the pocket (1) or fixed to the backrest is held at a lower level than the outlet from the bladder or another body fluid reservoir.
