PURPOSE:To count and display only the number of copied and ejected sheets by driving a counter when copying operation is performed and a transfer paper is ejected without any jam, and advancing a counter in stepwise by stopping the counting operation of the counter in case of a jam. CONSTITUTION:With a print switch pushed, paper is fed and a paper feed signal FEED is sent out and stored in a paper feed memory. When a counter goes up to a certain pulse value (100 pulses) and the paper is found ejected by a paper ejection detection part at this point in time, a paper ejection signal PESW is sent out and held in a paper ejection memory. Similarly, it is conformed that the paper ejection is completed normally at the 200th pulse, and a jam detection signal JAM from a jam detector goes to an L, thereby driving a counter. If a jam occurs, the JAM goes to an H and driving the counter is stopped. |
