Automobile battery with zigzag plates - made of silver or silver alloy for increasing battery performance

The battery plates are deformed in a zig-zag fashion to enlarge their surface area and increase the battery performance. Pref. the battery plates measure 15 x 10 cm and are 2 mm thick. They are initially formed with parallel narrow slots extending from top to bottom across their full width so that the plate is effectively divided into a number of rods each 1 mm wide. The material from which the plates are made pref. comprises silver or a silver alloy for further increasing the battery performance. The battery has a power output between two and four times that of an ordinary battery with flat plates and if silver plates are used the power output can be raised twenty times.
