<p>The test system is designed to provide a thorough evaluation of the components of a visual display system based upon a cathode ray tube. A data processing unit (DVE) is coupled over a bus (BL) with the control unit of a visual display system. The control unit has an interface (BK) coupled to an image repeater memory (BWS), character generator (ZG) and video signal mixer (VM). A cycle control stage (BFS) synchronises the stages. The output of the control unit is fed to the monitor (MD) over frequency discriminator stages (FD1,FD2). Voltage for the tube (BR) is supported from the source (BSA) that also supplies the line transformer (ZT). Test signals are fed to the monitor over the link.</p> |
