<p>The thick wire straightening machine for coiled wire (4) has a framework with a vertical front face (2) on which are mounted a drum (3) carrying the wire coil (4) and an upper driven roller (6). These feed the straightened wire (E) horizontally along a discharge path (7) between two sets of take-off rollers (8). The coil nearest to this discharge point is also guided and conveyed onwards by three long rollers also acting as driving members. At the discharge point from the driven roller and drum, are two bending blocks (B1,B2) which discharge towards the take-off rollers. Their two tips incorporate guiding grooves which form a gap (SP) in line with the gaps between the take-off rollers. The upper jaw (B1) is guided vertically and the lower jaw (B2) can tilt about a horizontal axis. The two upper long rollers are horizontal and the lower long roller is supported at an angle.</p> |
