Automatic breaker contact lever bearing - cooperates with cam carried by contact lever to prevent sidewards displacement

The breaker has at least one contact set with a pivoted contact lever (46) carrying the movable contact (44) and supported by a pivot bearing adjacent its opposite end. The pivot axis bearing (50) has a groove between the pivot axis (48) and the end of the contact lever (46) cooperating with a cam carried by the latter to prevent any displacement of the contact lever (46) in the direction of the axis (48). Pref. the contact lever (46) is U shaped with the base of the U carrying the cam at its centre, the cam projecting upwards towards the pivot axis (48) which extends between the arms at a small distance above the base. The breaker is prevented from being damaged by sidewards movement of the contact lever.
