PURPOSE:To prevent undesired data drop-out by entering into a monitor mode on condition that the data file unit medium which collects data from each data entry unit in stead of a terminal controller is set. CONSTITUTION:Data collector unit 4 monitors polling signals generated from terminal controller 1; and if the trouble of terminal controller 1 is discriminated, data collector unit 4 turns off disconnection contact 7 and generates substitutional polling signals from line adapter 5B and stores from each data entry unit 3-1 or 3-m in memory file 14. During this period, collector unit 4 monitors the coming of polling signals; and when restoration of the trouble is discriminated, collector unit 4 stops the transmission of substitution polling signals and turns on disconnection contact 7 and transfers data, which was collected during this trouble time, to terminal controller 1. |
