PURPOSE:To mass-produce replica disks directly from an original disk at low cost, by forming unevenness on a base by using photoresist corresponding to an information signal, and by applying an original disk, having a metallic film in conformity with the shape of the unevenness, with radiation curing lacquer. CONSTITUTION:On a glass base 10, a photoresist layer 11 is formed in an uneven shape 12 corresponding to information signal light. Then, a metallic film 14 of Ag or Cu is vapor-deposited to 1,500-200Angstrom film thickness in a shape 13 in conformity with the shape 12. The metallic film 14 is coated with radiation-setting liquid lacquer 15. On the lacquer 15, a transparent plate 16 of acrylic resin, etc., is provided and irradiated with ultraviolet rays, etc., from above to set the lacquer 15, and the set lacquer layer 17 is separated from the metallic film 13 to obtain a replica disk 18. On the lacquer layer 17 of the replica disk 18, Al is vapor-deposited and on it, a transparent film 20 is further formed to complete the replica disk. The metallic film 13 and set lacquer layer 17 are peeled off each other excellently and the replica disks are mass-produced directly without damaging the original disk. |
